The project’s goal was to enhance emergency and critical care services in Nepal, specifically addressing the response to COVID-19 through simulation-based education and mentoring. Amid the pandemic, with healthcare systems under strain, the focus was on preparing and empowering healthcare professionals dedicated to managing COVID-19 cases. The project targeted 60 doctors and nurses from four COVID-19 specific hospitals, providing training on infection prevention, control, and airway management to strengthen the country’s outbreak response capacity and mitigate health and economic consequences.
